Week of October 4th Announcements

Menu: Wedge pizza, carrots and dip, peaches, brownie, hamburger and chicken noodle soup.

Flu shot clinic for students on Monday, Oct. 11 from 4:00 – 7:00 in the elementary cafeteria. Bring your insurance card – if you do not have an insurance card MN Vaccine for Childhood will take care of it. There are permission forms in the high school and middle school offices.
You will need the completed permission form to get the shot.

There will be a snowmobile safety class at Melrose High School on Saturday, Dec. 4. Cost is $8.00. If you would like to register for this class, please see Stacey in the Community Education Office. If you have already registered fro this class, please pick up your class workbook in the Community Education Office and read all material before class begins. Thank you.

Looking for certified lifeguards 1,5,6 and 7th hours for 9th grade swim unit. Start October 25 and end Friday, Nov. 5th. Please le Mr. Anderson or Ms. Oberg know if you are interested.

A representative from the Army National Guard will in the lunchroom Monday, Oct. 11th.

Attention All Dance Team Members: If you are planning on being a part of the dance team for the 2010-11 season, you and a parent must attend the parent meeting. If you and a parent are unable to or if you have a questions, you need to contact Ms. Sykora asap – 256-2246/sarah_sykora11@yahoo.com The meeting is Sunday, Oct. 17th at 7:00 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. The meeting will last no longer than one hour.

Dance team captains practice begins Oct. 11th – every day in the high school cafeteria from 3:00 -5:00.

Needed lifeguards for open swim on Wednesday evenings, 7-8:30 p.m., Oct. 13 through December 15. Paid position, please see Stacey if you are interested.

Students purchase your parking permits in the office. Cost is $40.00. You must have a permit on your car today.

If you are a lifeguard and are interested in lifeguarding over the lunch hour (12:15-1:00) please see Stacey in the Community Education Office. This will be a paid position.

Sign up in the counselor’s office.

Seniors – turn in senior pictures (color) by November 5th.
