All 7-12 wrestlers meet in the high school locker room after school on Monday. Reminder to all winter athletes to pay fees and complete forms before practicing on Monday.
If you signed up for the snowmobile safety class, there is a registration form you need to pick up from the Community Ed. Office. Please stop in ASAP to get the form. Thank you
Boys’ Swimmers: Practice begins on Monday, November 29th. Please turn in all forms and fees to Mr. Ruoff before that day so you can begin practice on the first day. If you have any questions, see Coach Meyer.
Parent/Teacher Conferences are Monday, November 22 and Tuesday November 23 from 5:00 – 8:00 and Wednesday, Nov. 24 from 8:00 a.m. – noon. Report cards will be given to your parents at the conferences.
Can’t wait for that Hunger games book to be returned in the library? Come to the book fair! It’s going on now in the Elementary Library. All three of the Hunger Games books are there as well as a good selection of other interesting books for teens. The book fair is open from 9-3 each school day until Thanksgiving and during conference hours next week.

The National Honor Society at Melrose Area Public Schools is collecting gifts through the annual “Giving Tree” project. Students, teachers, and staff are asked to take ornaments with specific gift ideas off the tree and furnish those gifts before November 23 to the NHS. The tree will be displayed during the three lunch periods in the cafeteria and the gifts will be distributed to needy families in our community. Thanks to all who participate.
The German Advent Calendars have arrived and they are available for purchase. They are being sold by students who are participating in the annual Germany excursion. Quantities are limited, so purchase your calendar now. Thank you for your support.
Albany schools will be sponsoring a free community theatre project for youth and adults. Auditions will be held on December 9th, for more information, see the flyer on the Community Education bulletin board.
There will be a snowmobile safety class at Melrose High School on Saturday, Dec. 4. Cost is $8.00. If you would like to register for this class, please see Stacey in the Community Education Office. If you have already registered fro this class, please pick up your class workbook in the Community Education Office and read all material before class begins. Thank you.
