Stearns County American Dairy Assn.(ADA) is looking for potential dairy princess candidates. If you are a daughter/sister of a dairy farmer or work for a dairy farmer and are between the ages of a senior in high school and under 24, you are asked to share your knowledge of the dairy industry and promote your family’s business and way of life to the public by participating in this year’s Dairy Princess Program

There will be girls and boys soccer offered during the winter and spring 2011. Beginning on Tuesday, January 11, the girls will play from 3-4 and the boys from 4-5. We will meet in the elementary gym. Anyone in grades 7-12 who is interested in playing soccer and staying in shape those cold winter months, feel free to join us. 7th grade girls travel team will have practice tomorrow (Friday) at 8:00 p.m. Please have a parent at the end of practice to discuss tournaments and other important items. Nathan Notch
There will be no winter variety show. The will be held on Friday of Snow Days Week.
The school dance on Friday, Dec. 17 is for 9-12 grade only.
Students from other schools may come. There will be form for them to fill out Carol’s office starting Monday.
Winter session classroom driver education starts January 10 – 21 from 3:15 – 6:15.
Spring session starts February 14 – 28 from 3:15 – 6:15. (Note time change)
Renaissance cards are ready for you to pick up. Check the display case in the hallway across from the media center. Grades 9-12 come to the high school office and grade 8 go to the middle school office. If you have any questions see Carol.
Jingle Ball tickets are now on sale! Tickets will be sold before school and they are $4.00 per person if bought during pre-sale and $6.00 at the door. All Proceeds from dance will go to the Ronald McDonald house.
Chain for Change – the MHS student council is now selling paper link chains for $1.00. All proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald house (see student council members to purchase).

Students pick up your activity tickets in the office today. Grades 9-12 come to the high school office. Grades 6-8 see Audrey in the middle school office.
The weight room will be open on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday’s after school from 3:00 – 4:00. All Athletes who are not out for a winter sport are encouraged to attend. See Mr. DeCann if you have any questions.
